Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology Care Unit (Part Time)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, and imaging-guided tests.
• Monitor patient recovery, manage anesthesia and sedation, and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• BSN or commitment to obtain within three years.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum two years' experience in acute care settings (e.g., Critical Care, ED, PACU).
• PALS preferred.
• IV certification and moderate sedation experience are advantageous.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients.
• Proficient in sedation and IV therapy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Duties

• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts according to departmental guidelines.
