4 Central is a dynamic 22-bed Pulmonary Medical/Surgical floor. The unit is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of respiratory conditions. Our team specializes in the management of complex pulmonary diagnoses, providing nurses with a strong clinical foundation and opportunities to build advanced assessment and critical thinking skills. We pride ourselves on our collaborative, supportive culture where teamwork is at the core of everything we do. Our interdisciplinary team works closely together to ensure the best patient outcomes while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
About This Location
The Atrium Health Floyd family of health care services is a leading medical provider and economic force in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama. What You’ll Do
- Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
