Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Med Surg

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for Pulmonary Med Surg, responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The nurse assesses patient conditions, performs procedures, administers medications, and documents care accurately. They respond promptly to patient needs, educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments, and advocate for patient well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Perform and document medical procedures.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and needs.
• Provide education to patients and families about health conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Active RN licensure.
• BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program with a goal to complete within five years.
• Preferred: hospital nursing experience.
