Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Psychiatric care, providing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for behavioral health patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications
- Conduct patient groups
- Document care
- Participate in treatment planning
- Maintain staffing and nursing care standards
- Follow hospital policies for restraint and seclusion
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Indiana RN license or compact license
- BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN program
- Prior RN experience preferred; new graduates considered based on unit availability
- Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing
- Effective communication
- Therapeutic relationship skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to behavioral issues
Schedule
12-hour night shifts
Pay
Earning up to $45/hour plus additional weekend/night shift pay; includes shift differentials.
