Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN-A - Sanders

About the role

Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Sanders is currently hiring for a PRN-A Registered Nurse (RN) to join their care team serving the Gloucester community. This position will work at least 4 shifts per 4-week schedule, with at least 2 of these shifts being on weekends. This role offers flexibility and pay rates starting at $42.00 per hour!

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
• Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety/dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience
• 6 Months Long Term Care (LTC) Experience (Required)
• 2 years LPN Experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) or Assisted Living (AL) Setting (Preferred)
• 1 year RN Experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days (Required)
