Responsibilities
- Affords safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Aids in organizing patient care activities as assigned.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient.
- Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
- Implements nursing care plan.
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
- Demonstrates leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Required: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
- Experience: None
- Licenses: REGISTERED NURSE
- Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN), ACLS (due within 90 days), NRP (AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS) (due within 90 days for inexperienced RN / at hire for experienced Obstetrics RN)
