Unit: Mother/Baby - Post Partum
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Two (2)-12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends
About the role
The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- One (1) year Mother/Baby experience
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- NRP
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Mother/Baby Charge nurse experience
- ACLS and Handle with Care
