Registered Nurse - RN – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Nights

About the role

Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. This is a full-time night shift position (8:00PM - 8:00AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care in the PACU setting
• Drive the sharing of knowledge and practices that make a life-changing difference for patients
• Focus on amazing patient outcomes every step of the way
• Participate in a finely tuned, team-based care giving approach

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience in Critical Care
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association

Preferred Criteria

• Previous acute care RN experience in Critical Care, PACU, or Progressive Care
• Minimum of 3 years of Critical Care Experience
• CCRN/CPAN certification preferred
