Registered Nurse (RN) Post Acute Nursing Unit

About the role

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Post Acute Nursing (Skilled Nursing) Unit. This position offers a two-year commitment with a $20,000 bonus for the first year on nights.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Plans, delegates, and coordinates nursing care for assigned patients.
• Affirms patient/family/significant other educational needs and implements educational plans.
• Documents patient assessments, interventions, and educational needs.
• Administers medications and treatments, maintains equipment, and ensures a safe environment.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and documents patient outcomes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire; ACLS certification preferred for Charge RN positions.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing or similar settings is preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Nights | Full Time | 6:30-7:00 | Rotating Weekends
