Registered Nurse RN Physical Medicine and Rehab

About the role

Banner Health Center Plus is a multi-purpose medical building located at 4200 E. Camelback Rd, Suite 202, Phoenix, AZ. This facility offers a wide range of medical and rehabilitation services, including an onsite laboratory, family medicine, specialty medicine, urgent care, surgery center, and physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Affords direct patient care and interaction with a team of physicians and staff.
• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
• Plans and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Delegates tasks to other licensed nurses and oversees the activities of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes, and communicates effectively with other healthcare providers.
• Documents all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient's record.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Experience in the clinical area for which the applicant is applying is desired.
• Maintains clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.
