Registered Nurse (RN) - Perioperative / Post Anesthesia Care

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care unit. Responsibilities: Provide individualized, age-specific bedside nursing care, assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with healthcare team members. Act as a supervisor by delegating tasks and utilizing independent judgment. Participate in hourly patient rounding, ensure safety protocols, and may serve as shift supervisor.Qualifications: Current RN license in the state, nursing degree from an accredited institution, and relevant certifications such as CPR, ACLS, and PALS as applicable. Experience in neonatal intensive care or specialty certifications are preferred. Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, excellent customer service, and teamwork skills. Capable of assessing physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, and safety needs, and tailoring care accordingly.Additional Requirements: Ability to implement medical orders, set realistic patient outcomes, and adapt care plans to individual needs. May be asked to be in charge during shifts and participate in quality evaluation. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care in a dynamic clinical setting, emphasizing patient safety, team collaboration, and professional development.
