Trinity Health Shelby Hospital, located on State Street in Shelby, MI, is a faith-based, community-focused healthcare provider serving West Michigan with compassion and excellence. As a critical access hospital, it plays a vital role in meeting the healthcare needs of Oceana County and the surrounding rural communities. As part of the Trinity Health Michigan system, the hospital offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced imaging, surgical services, primary care, and more. It is also home to a 24-hour Level IV Trauma Emergency Center, providing immediate care and stabilization for patients in urgent need.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- BLS, certification required.
- Commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
Continuing Employment Requirements
- Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff.
- (Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation).
- Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
- Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.
