Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent health assessments and nursing care to students
- Manage urgent care visits and care for students in the extended care facility
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in chart review
- Contribute to ongoing clinical projects as needed
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Current CPR/AED certification required
- Experience in adolescent health, school health, ambulatory care, urgent care, or emergency care
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Able to work independently and manage a fluctuating patient census
- Computer proficiency required; EMR experience strongly preferred
- Full background check required
Per Diem Requirement
- Per diem nurses must work three full shifts per trimester
- Two of these shifts must be scheduled during evening, overnight, or weekend hours
- Averages approximately one shift per month
