Responsibilities

  • Deliver and document safe patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Perform in five areas of nursing practice—clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership, and professional development—utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving, and differentiation of urgency.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical standards (ANA) and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Integrate knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into care delivery.
  • Contribute to quality nursing care through excellent customer service and performance-improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.
  • Uphold the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current Florida RN license.
  • Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS, valid for at least 90 days post-hire.
  • Department-specific experience and competency assessment completion (see Nursing Addendums for details).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer-service skills.

Pay

Minimum to midpoint pay rate: $30.27 – $40.86 per hour.

Relocation and housing incentive up to $12,400.

Schedule

  • Full-time staff position.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
