Registered Nurse (RN) Part-Time Night Shift
About the Role
The registered nurse assesses residents' health, educational, and environmental needs upon admission and regularly thereafter. They communicate significant health changes to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and document assessments accurately. The nurse develops, reviews, and revises personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring safe and timely interventions such as medication administration and treatments. Critical thinking is essential for managing changing conditions, with timely physician communication using SBARR. They monitor resident care effectiveness, identify issues using QAPI processes, and assist with daily resident activities and care needs. Maintaining current nursing knowledge and adhering to policies is required, with additional duties assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Registered nurse license from an accredited nursing program and current state licensure
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within six months)
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with residents and equipment
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and proficiency in documentation
- Long-term care experience preferred
Pay
$29.39 to $48.20 per hour
