About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care, lead shift routines, and supervise staff in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction on the assigned unit, including supervising staff and ensuring quality care.
- Perform resident assessments, administer treatments, and monitor health status.
- Document care accurately, update care plans, and communicate resident changes to physicians and families.
- Ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, staff evaluations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- CPR certification and ongoing CEU maintenance.
- Experience in long-term care preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and utilize electronic documentation.
