Role Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based standards, and ensure individualized care by partnering with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and clinical standards.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, ensuring timely documentation and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional growth and a healthy work environment.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with policies and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS may be required.
• Prior patient care experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential, along with proficiency in technology.
• Associates or higher nursing education is required.
