Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Provide triage services to assess patient needs and evaluate symptoms, including answering patient inquiries, providing patient teaching, and determining the urgency and appropriate course of action.
• Have extensive knowledge of medical documentation to generate, decipher, and correct for proper documentation methods in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Perform nursing duties and tasks relevant to this position in compliance with all regulatory authorities and program protocols, including active and ongoing nursing assessments, charting, scheduling appointments, routine observations, isolation observations, wellness checks, immunizations, medication administration, and timely internal reports as needed.
