About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develops and documents personalized care plans within established timeframes.
- Performs patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competency.
- Provides emergency treatment when necessary.
- Verifies order accuracy, manages medication reconciliation, schedules tests/procedures, and ensures consent forms are complete.
- Adheres to medication and IV therapy policies, monitors for adverse reactions, and administers medications safely.
- Collaborates with healthcare team members to promote patient safety and quality care.
- Performs additional related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
- Valid Multi-State RN License (or applicable state license) required.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
- Basic Rhythms certification within orientation.
- Relevant clinical experience evaluated for acceptability.
