Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedic Spine - Days

About the Role

This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an orthopedic/spine unit, focusing on assessments, diagnoses, care implementation, and evaluation to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments tailored to patient age and condition, engaging patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Analyze assessments to establish nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate evidence-based nursing interventions to achieve patient care goals.
• Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and current knowledge, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Assess discharge needs and utilize resources for effective care transition.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN); Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Current Oklahoma RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications

• New graduates must complete a nurse residency program.
