Registered Nurse RN- Orthopedic Neurology and Spine
About the Role
Join Resurrection Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Neurology and Spine department. This full-time position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am, including rotating weekends, at our Chicago, IL facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current (preferred).
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience (preferred).
- Ventilator Management experience (preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Bonus
Newly hired RNs are eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Eligibility and payout terms apply, with details discussed during the interview process.
