Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Overnight

About the role

Living Meadows is a non‑profit corporation founded by 21 area Lutheran churches to provide care to area men and women. Luther Memorial Home was built in 1958 and admitted its first resident in 1959. Over the years the facility has expanded and remodeled to meet growing needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ health
• Administer medications
• Respond to call lights
• Collaborate with fellow care team members to ensure personalized attention and comfort
• Perform regular charting
• Attend to emergencies
• Foster meaningful interactions with residents

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure
• Empathy to connect with residents and understand their needs
• Strong communication skills for liaising with team, residents, and families
• Problem‑solving abilities for unexpected situations
• Attention to detail for correct medication administration and resident care
• Time management to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Willingness to undergo federal background screening; pending criminal charges or felony convictions may result in disqualification
