Freedom Detox, a Pyramid Healthcare program, is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our overnight nursing team in Gastonia, NC. As an overnight nurse, you'll play a critical role in providing safe, high-quality medical care and support to adults receiving detoxification services. We're looking for clinicians with a strong bedside manner, exceptional professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm while effectively de-escalating challenging situations. Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients throughout the overnight shift.
• Administer medications safely, accurately, and in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and manage withdrawal symptoms using established detoxification protocols.
• Complete COWS and CIWA assessments per clinical protocol.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and the recovery process.
• Coordinate with on-call medical providers regarding client assessments, medication needs, and changes in condition.
• Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health emergencies using sound clinical judgment.
• Utilize strong de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
