Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN): Active license in the state of practice, 1-3 years’ experience working in a clinical or long term care environment.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active license in the state of practice, less than 1 year experience in Long Term Care.
Skills
Knowledge of nursing care, assessment, and evaluation processes.
Ability to administer medications safely and accurately.
Experience in long-term care environments.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Skills and Abilities
- Communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
- Use the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
- Administer medications according to facility policy.
- Participate in the care planning process.
- Document resident care appropriately.
- Manage the delivery of resident care.
- Facilitate conflict management.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to physician using SBAR communication tool.
Requirements
- Work the hours specified.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with, but not limited to, CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA if applicable.
Pay and Schedule
- Night shift: 6 p.m.-6:30 a.m., 48 hours/2 weeks, every third weekend, every other holiday rotation.
- Pay range: $24.50 - $51.50 (actual pay rate dependent upon experience).

- Individual must be able to work the hours specified.
- Must have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
