Pay

  • Hourly range: $22.20 - $32.00 per hour (LPN)
  • Hourly range: $34.00 - $51.00 per hour (RN)

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN): Active license in the state of practice, 1-3 years’ experience working in a clinical or long term care environment.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active license in the state of practice, less than 1 year experience in Long Term Care.

Skills

Knowledge of nursing care, assessment, and evaluation processes.

Ability to administer medications safely and accurately.

Experience in long-term care environments.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Skills and Abilities

  • Communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
  • Use the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
  • Administer medications according to facility policy.
  • Participate in the care planning process.
  • Document resident care appropriately.
  • Manage the delivery of resident care.
  • Facilitate conflict management.
  • Communicate changes in resident condition to physician using SBAR communication tool.

Requirements

  • Work the hours specified.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with, but not limited to, CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA if applicable.

Pay and Schedule

  • Night shift: 6 p.m.-6:30 a.m., 48 hours/2 weeks, every third weekend, every other holiday rotation.
  • Pay range: $24.50 - $51.50 (actual pay rate dependent upon experience).

Qualifications

  • Individual must be able to work the hours specified.
  • Must have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
  • Must comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with, but not limited to, CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA if applicable.
