About the role
A caregiver position is available in West Paducah, KY / Paducah, KY. This role is for a Caregiver (1099) - RN/LPN.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to supervising nurse.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare provider.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
