Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Ambulatory PACU

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions.
• Coordinates care among various healthcare professionals.
• Assesses and plans for patient discharge needs.
• Delegates tasks to other nursing personnel as appropriate.
• Participates in interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Provides input to meet desired patient outcomes.
• Adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and ANA Social Policy Statement.
• Develops and revises individualized patient care plans.
• Engages in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Emergency Department (ED) experience.
