Registered Nurse (RN) -OR Ambulatory PACU

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions.
• Coordinates care among various healthcare disciplines.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs.
• Delegates tasks to other nursing personnel as appropriate.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Provides input to meet desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current CT RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALSPACU and/or ICU/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

Knowledge of patients' condition and ability to provide appropriate input to meet desired outcomes for the appropriate patient population.

Skills

Knowledge of ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice (2015), ANA Code of Ethics (2015), and ANA Social Policy Statement (2015).
