About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Operating Room (OR) to provide safe, compassionate perioperative care.
Responsibilities
- Performing pre-operative assessments, intraoperative assistance, and post-operative evaluations with patient-centered focus.
- Developing individualized perioperative care plans and adhering to safety protocols to prevent errors.
- Administering medications, managing specimens, and maintaining critical system functions to ensure patient safety.
- Promoting patient education, emotional support, dignity, privacy, and culturally competent care.
- Documenting care activities accurately and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives and advocating for patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in acute care settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS and CNOR are preferred.
