Surgical Coordinator, a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures
• Arrange pre- and post-operative appointments
• Obtain authorizations
• Coordinate with clinical teams, medical providers, and hospital staff to ensure timely patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years of healthcare OR or customer service experience
• Proficient in PC skills and medical terminology
• Preferred: AAS in MOA or similar, knowledge of insurance referrals, HER, Excel, Microsoft Office, and OR scheduling experience
• Optional: Current driver’s license

Work Environment

Office setting with exposure to cleaning solutions, requiring sitting, walking, standing, bending, and possible patient transportation.

Level 3 clinical access to patient information, excluding restricted data.
