About the Role

A Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on oncology and general nursing duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments and physician prescriptions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in medical records.
• Manage and troubleshoot patient care equipment and supplies.
• Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state.
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including effective communication and visual acuity.
• Certifications in Oncology Nursing (ONS Fundamentals and Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Cards) within specified timeframes.
• Preferred: Prior oncology experience.
• Commitment to compassionate, team-oriented care and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
