About the role

Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements nursing care plans based on patient assessments, medical histories, and physician prescriptions.
• Coordinates with healthcare team members to deliver physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure quality care.
• Maintains a safe environment by following infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
• Documents patient care accurately in records and manages equipment and supplies effectively.
• Contributes to a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication and patient safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in the practice state.
• Completion of required oncology nursing certifications within specified timeframes.
• Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to perform essential functions.
• Preferred experience in oncology nursing.
