Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion

About the role

The Oncology Infusion RN provides optimal patient care in accordance with the Oncology Nursing Society and Vermont Board of Nursing guidelines, as well as Central Vermont Medical Center policies and procedures. Responsibilities include being accessible to patients, maintaining a high level of knowledge, and working amicably with other staff members while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
  • Education: Graduate from an approved Professional Nursing Education Program.
  • Experience: One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience, with preference given to candidates with Oncology Certified Nurse experience.
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification is required.

Qualifications

  • Vermont Board of Nursing licensure is required.
  • Experience in specific clinical area varies by unit.

Schedule
