Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics and Gynecology, OBGYN
Franklin Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) team on the 36-hour day shift. This role supports women and families through pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care in our 10-bed Women's Health Unit, where over 250 babies are born each year.
About the role
As an OB/GYN RN, you will work in an intimate, patient-centered environment, building meaningful relationships with families while providing individualized, compassionate care. You will collaborate with obstetric providers, pediatric clinicians, lactation consultants, and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care across every phase of the childbirth experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor maternal and fetal well-being
- Assist during labor and delivery
- Provide postpartum and newborn care
- Educate patients and families
- Ensure a safe and positive birth experience for every family
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Current BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of start date)
- One year of recent RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Additional certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
