Registered Nurse (RN) - Nurse Resident

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as a Registered Nurse (RN) within a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program.
• Participate in a structured 12‑month orientation with clinical training, mentorship, and leadership skill development.
• Provide direct patient care across various clinical settings, including med/surg, critical care, emergency, telemetry, and more.
• Complete skills encounters, shadowing, and supervised care to build confidence and competence.
• Engage in workshops on clinical coaching, evidence‑based practice, communication, and de‑escalation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current New York State RN license or Limited Permit.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: professional nursing certifications (e.g., ACLS) and relevant clinical experience.

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $40.70/hr plus shift differentials.

Schedule

Approximately 40 hours weekly, with shift preferences discussed during interviews.
