Responsibilities

  • Uses a multidisciplinary team approach and acts as a liaison between the patient, staff, referring physician offices, and ancillary areas of the hospital system.
  • Identifies timely diagnostic results and facilitates and coordinates patient care.
  • Facilitates a timely, integrated, and coordinated approach to the care of patients with cancer and provides quality nursing care for patients with cancer or related health issues.
  • Identifies learning needs and content for educational programs.
  • Develops, presents, coordinates, and evaluates educational activities.
  • Effectively performs in the role of clinician, facilitator, advocate, consultant, and/or researcher.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Related (Required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical specialty (Required).
  • Active Florida Registered Nurse License (Required).
  • BLS certification (Required).
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (Required).
  • Membership in professional/academic organizations (Desired).
  • Basic computer skills in MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay

Minimum to midpoint pay rate: $35.04 - $47.30 per hour.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Shift 1)
