About the role

The Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab at ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the pre and post-care treatment of patients undergoing diagnostic testing and imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the pre and post-care treatment of the patient population in the Cardiovascular Lab.
  • Performs diagnostic testing and imaging, including echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, and peripheral vascular ultrasounds.
  • Cross-trains to the HVIS Prep & Hold area as needed.

Requirements

  • Current RN license to work in Delaware.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • One year of cardiac stepdown experience as RN; critical care experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience: One year of cardiac stepdown experience as RN; critical care experience strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

  • 8-hour shifts
  • 9-hour shifts
  • 10-hour shifts

Pay

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
