Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Position Overview

As a night shift RN, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring continuous patient care and safety after hours. You’ll work closely with providers, patients, and support staff to address overnight needs, monitor health changes, and support recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients throughout the night
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond quickly to emergencies or changes in patient condition
• Document all care provided during the shift
• Communicate with day shift teams to ensure continuity of care
• Support patients and families with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska RN license (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute or med-surg experience
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
• Comfortable working night shifts in a rural or critical access setting
