About the role
Full-time night shift Registered Nurse (RN) position at Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL. This role provides direct nursing care in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting during overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition.
- Provide clinical leadership and make sound nursing decisions during overnight hours.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
- Follow infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide clinical leadership during overnight hours.

Pay
Base pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience). Night shift differentials available.
Schedule
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift.
