Registered Nurse (RN) NICU PRN
About the Role
Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse for a PRN (as needed) schedule. Day shift, including weekends and holidays.
Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) offers a newly renovated, 16-bed, Level III NICU. Newborns who are premature or have special needs are cared for around the clock in our centered NICU by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists as well as specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists.

Qualifications
- Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
- Certification: Basic Life Support through AHA
- Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of NICU RN experience
