OSU Physicians is opening a new Powell location and is hiring a Registered Nurse to support the clinical team in a newly built practice. Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider.
- Collect and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and identify expected outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty, adhering to organizational objectives and policies.
- Provide patient and family health education and conduct health assessments.
- Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
- Administer medications and patient care aids according to established procedures.
- Educate patients and families on disease nature, care, and treatment.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Use analytical and critical thinking to gather, interpret data, and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledge of triage procedures and experience in clinic, physician office, or urgent care settings.
Pay
USD $32.85 - USD $48.55 per hour.
