Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology Department - Brand New Location in Powell

OSU Physicians is opening a new Powell location and is hiring a Registered Nurse to support the clinical team in a newly built practice. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and identify expected outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty, adhering to organizational objectives and policies.
• Provide patient and family health education and conduct health assessments.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Administer medications and patient care aids according to established procedures.
• Educate patients and families on disease nature, care, and treatment.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Use analytical and critical thinking to gather, interpret data, and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of triage procedures and experience in clinic, physician office, or urgent care settings.

Pay

USD $32.85 - USD $48.55 per hour.
