Role Overview The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices, and uphold nursing standards in accordance with regulatory and organizational policies. The nurse performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized care plans, and partners with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Deliver culturally competent, relationship-based care tailored to patient needs.Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and documentation to ensure safety and quality.Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.Support professional development, mentorship, and team collaboration.Contribute to protocol development and resource management. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.Valid RN license, with multi-state licensure preferred.Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.Certifications: BLS, NRP, and other relevant neonatal life support credentials required at hire.
