Role Overview This position provides direct and indirect patient care within the assigned setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. It involves performing general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizing care while ensuring patient dignity and rights are upheld. The role requires critical thinking, compassionate decision-making, and adherence to nursing processes. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions.Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and assist physicians with procedures.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-effective resource management and promote patient safety.Prioritize patient care efficiently and demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy is required; additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS are preferred.Active RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire are mandatory.
