Fulton Commons is hiring Registered Nurses. Excellent opportunity for new grads to gain clinical experience! Up to $2,500.00 sign‑on bonus. Pay range: $44.00‑$46.00 per hour. Full‑time and part‑time positions available on day, evening, and night shifts with rotating weekends and weekends as needed. Located in East Meadow, NY.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing judgement and knowledge of gerontological nursing to set priorities and make decisions.
• Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
• Implements physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs standard nursing treatments and observes resident for desired and unwanted effects.
• Assess & implement residents’ care plans when conditions warrant a change as necessary.
• Completes care plans and other documents as assigned.
• Complies with the confidentiality of all resident information as per HIPAA and corporate guidelines.
• Supervises, directs and/or provides resident care when assigned.
• Establishes personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons as a representative of the facility.
• Provides support to patients, friends, and families.
• Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
• Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.

Requirements

• Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License
• Long‑Term Care Experience Preferred but not required
