Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Unit - Days

About the role

This position involves providing comprehensive medical/surgical care to adult patients with complex conditions in a 16-bed med/surg tele unit focused on post-op colorectal care. The RN will assess and reassess patient needs, develop nursing diagnoses, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure safety and well-being. Responsibilities include coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare teams, utilizing evidence-based practices, and evaluating discharge needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s degree required; BSN/MSN preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Participation in nurse residency program for new graduates
