About the Role
Seeking a high-energy Registered Nurse (RN) to join a medical/surgical unit providing care to adult patients with complex conditions. The RN will assess, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patient needs, involving appropriate healthcare providers and families.
- Analyze assessments to establish nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
- Deliver nursing interventions guided by current evidence, policies, and regulations.
- Evaluate patient outcomes through critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge.
- Assist with discharge planning and resource utilization.
- Maintain professional practice standards and contribute to patient safety and well-being.
- Develop and coordinate care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN/MSN preferred.
- Current Oklahoma RN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications necessary during orientation.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred; new graduates must complete a nurse residency program.
