Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry Observation - Part Time
About the Role
Our Medical Telemetry Observation unit, 6KLM, is seeking dynamic novice and experienced RNs to join our team of nursing excellence at Aurora St. Luke's, a 6-time Magnet designated facility. This 28-bed unit primarily admits patients from the Emergency Department, offering a diverse patient population with multiple diagnoses and an average length of stay of 2 days. You will care for patients with chronic pulmonary diseases, pneumonia, wounds, various gastrointestinal issues, congestive heart failure, and a wide variety of procedures and medication drips.

Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will:
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Strong interest and passion for nursing.
- A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.
