About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident to provide patient care in the Medical Telemetry department.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care and adjust plans as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Eligibility to take the nursing licensure exam (for Graduate Nurse Residents)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
