Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry

About the role

MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Telemetry Unit. The position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license using research, innovation, and evidence‑based practices, with clinical instruction and learning opportunities through the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care using research, innovation, and evidence‑based practices.
• Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ASN/BSN).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One‑year recent acute‑care RN experience preferred.

Schedule

Three shifts per week, 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m., with every third weekend and holiday worked.
