Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry

About the role

MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for their Telemetry Unit. The unit focuses on providing care at the top of their license, using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties
• Offer clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency
• Work at 2 shifts a week from 6:45a-7:15p, every third weekend and holiday

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply
