Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Unit is responsible for delivering safe, individualized, and effective nursing care to hospitalized inpatients and outpatients. Key Responsibilities: Assumes duties within licensure and scope of practice, demonstrates critical thinking, responds promptly to clinical changes, involves patients and families in care planning, and participates in ongoing professional development. Engages in quality improvement, adheres to medication safety protocols, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures readiness for emergencies. Acts as a Unit Charge Nurse, overseeing patient care, staff coordination, and ensuring safety and efficiency during shifts. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active RN license, obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention certification within 180 days, and possess strong communication and visual acuity skills.
